Job Description SummaryThe Internal Sales Consultant provides World Financial Group (WFG) field agents with information to support the sale of life insurance products (term, index universal life, universal life, whole life) and fixed index annuity products. Answers presale questions and provides assistance related to underwriting, case design, illustrations, e-app assistance, general insurance overviews, business and estate planning, and annual policy reviews. Works closely with Marketing to promote campaigns and help influence overall sales.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Answer inbound calls and as needed, make proactive outbound calls to WFG agents to assist in sales generation, maintaining 30-35 calls per day on average
  • Answer inbound calls from WFG agents, maintaining a 30-35 call per day average.
  • Take ownership of each call to ensure agents receive accurate and complete information to make decisions that meet their clients’ best interest.
  • Use Salesforce to track 100% of calls/actions taken.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of features and benefits for new and existing products, and ensure agents and internal partners are kept aware of product updates/changes and associated rules/guidelines.  Use a variety websites and internal systems to research, gather, and disseminate information.
  • Train agents on sales concepts and end-to-end sales processes.
  • Work with field Regional Vice Presidents and Internal Sales Partners to help drive sales and keep consistent messaging.
  • Utilize expertise of teams in New Business, Customer Service, Agent Technical Support, Underwriting, and Licensing/Commissions to ensure agents receive the right information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business field or equivalent education/experience
  • Three years of sales experience, preferably in life insurance
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Interpersonal skills to maintain relationships and build trust with agents and team members
  • Strong attention to detail to document calls/activities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Life and Health license or obtain within 90 days

Working Conditions

  • Remote environment
  • May participate in annual WFG convention to provide event support (requires standing/lifting)

Compensation

The Salary for this position generally ranges between $45-48K. This range is an estimate, based on potential qualifications and operational needs. Salary may vary above and below the stated amounts, as permitted by applicable law.  

Additionally, this position is typically eligible for an Annual Bonus based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance and is at Company discretion.
