About Charlie Health
Charlie Health is a virtual intensive outpatient (vIOP) provider for clients facing serious mental health, substance use, and eating disorders. Their model combines clinical treatment with integrative modalities like mindfulness, creative arts, and experiential work. Every client receives nine hours of psychoeducation groups weekly, including three “integrative hours” focused on mind–body–spirit care. The mission: expand access to life-saving, personalized behavioral health care for people with complex needs.
Schedule
- Remote 1099 contractor position
- Minimum of 9 direct clinical group hours per week, spread across at least 3 nights
- Required availability: Monday–Thursday, 3:00–8:00 PM MST
- Sessions are delivered via secure telehealth from a private, professional environment
- Groups are scheduled at consistent times each week so you know your regular rhythm
- Note: This role is not available to candidates in Illinois
What You’ll Do
- Facilitate weekly virtual integrative group sessions for children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Use expressive tools, creative arts, contemplative practices, and experiential techniques to support emotional processing and coping skills
- Develop engaging, creative ways to translate integrative and experiential work into an online group format
- Deliver services in line with best practices for high-acuity behavioral health populations
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, staff, agencies, and referents
- Document sessions accurately and on time in the EMR and outcomes platforms
- Maintain strong clinical and professional ethics, including boundaries and confidentiality
- Use thoughtful risk management and consult with the broader team as needed
What You Need
- Clinical experience and/or experience in mental or behavioral health (required)
- Experience working with a broad age range: children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Experience with high-acuity mental health populations
- Master’s degree in mental health or a related field (required)
- Training, experience, and certification in at least one integrative modality, such as:
- Yoga, MBSR, MBRP, Mindful Self-Compassion
- Chaplaincy / spiritual coaching
- Music therapy (MT-BC), Dance/movement therapy (R-DMT/BC-DMT), Art therapy (ATR/ATR-BC), Drama therapy (RDT)
- Experiential, adventure, nature-based, recreation-based, play, expressive, psychodrama, IFS, somatic work, poetry/narrative practice, and related approaches
- Licensed mental health professional preferred
- Solid tech comfort and ability to run smooth telehealth sessions via Zoom or similar
- Reliable high-speed internet and a confidential space to meet with clients
- Comfort using cloud tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, and EMR/outcomes software
- Authorized to work in the United States and fluent in English
