Schedule
- Full-time, remote
- Hours of operation: 8am–7pm Monday–Thursday and 8am–6pm Friday (shifts vary based on department needs)
- Work schedule listed: 6am CST to 7pm CDT
- Remote work not available to residents of: Alaska, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming
What You’ll Do
- Place outbound calls to new and existing specialty pharmacy patients
- Enroll patients into specialty services (including care management, copay assistance, and billing support)
- Answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and other healthcare professionals
- Contact providers to obtain missing information needed to proceed
- Manage assigned workflow queues and keep tasks moving to completion
- Translate prescription and patient details into the pharmacy dispensing system accurately
- Document demographics, allergies, medication history, comorbidities, and payer information thoroughly
- Support prior authorization triage by gathering information and assisting with next steps when needed
- Follow all legal, ethical, and compliance requirements and support other areas as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
- National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required based on the employee’s residing state requirements
- Preferred: 2+ years of pharmacy support experience or healthcare environment experience
- Strong phone communication, documentation discipline, and comfort working in structured queues/workflows
- Ability to work scheduled hours (shifts may vary)
