Full-time remote role
Availability window: 6am–7pm CST/CDT (shifts may vary based on department needs)
Hours of operation: Monday–Thursday 8am–7pm, Friday 8am–6pm
Remote eligibility excludes residents of: AK, CT, DE, HI, KS, KY, ME, MA, MS, MT, NE, NH, NM, ND, RI, SC, SD, VT, WV, WY
What You’ll Do
- Call new and existing specialty pharmacy patients and answer inbound calls from patients, prescribers, and healthcare professionals
- Enroll patients into specialty services, including care management, copay assistance programs, and billing support
- Contact providers to obtain missing or required information to process prescriptions
- Manage assigned workflow queues to keep intake moving smoothly
- Document patient and prescription information accurately and thoroughly
- Translate prescription details into the pharmacy dispensing software for processing and fulfillment
- Support prior authorization triage by gathering information and assisting providers and insurance partners when needed
- Follow all federal and state laws and maintain high ethical and compliance standards
- Pitch in with other pharmacy technician-type duties as needed
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED (some college preferred)
- National CPhT and/or registration/licensure required based on your state’s requirements
- 2+ years of pharmacy support or healthcare environment experience (preferred)
- Strong documentation skills with high attention to detail
- Ability to work scheduled hours with flexibility as department needs shift
- Ability to work respectfully and cooperatively with teammates and stakeholders
- Commitment to compliance and patient privacy expectations

Pay Range: $20.00 – $21.96/hr.
