- Standard hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Time
- Remote role based in the United States
- Anticipated start date: January 5, 2025
- Estimated base pay range: $56,000 to $62,400 per year, plus team performance incentives
What You’ll Do
⦁ Lead and support a remote insurance and billing team, overseeing day-to-day operations and staff performance
⦁ Monitor productivity, quality, and timely completion of billing and collections functions
⦁ Apply deep knowledge of payer rules and compliance practices for both government and non-government payers
⦁ Help implement best practices and processes to maximize revenue and collection results
⦁ Participate in solving client issues and meeting performance targets and service expectations
⦁ Track and review key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide daily operations and continuous improvement
⦁ Escalate and communicate client, performance, or quality concerns to leadership in a timely manner
⦁ Hire, coach, and develop team members, managing competencies, expectations, and performance
⦁ Allocate staffing and resources across projects and support month-end reporting to clients
⦁ Mentor and support your team using strong interpersonal skills while modeling Meduit’s core values
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or GED (associate or bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred)
⦁ At least 5 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle functions such as billing, insurance follow up, denials, and underpayments for hospital and physician entities
⦁ 1–2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
⦁ Working knowledge of common EHR systems such as Epic, MEDITECH, Cerner, or Athena
⦁ Strong communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills with a people-centered leadership style
⦁ Proven ability to organize work groups, monitor progress, enforce standards, and ensure quality compliance
⦁ Reliable high-speed internet that meets minimum download and upload speed requirements for remote work
⦁ Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
