Key Responsibilities
- Inbound call, constative sales, educating the consumer on each type of insurance coverage and making recommendations based on needs
- Evaluate current insurance policies and recommend additional coverage when needed
- Promote the insurance agency
- Data entry into the agency management system
- Maintain insurance documents in a confidential manner
- Proactive outbound phone calls as needed
- Operate with integrity
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
- 1+ years life insurance sales experience required
- Medicare Advantage sales experience preferred
- Active Life & Health Licenses required in the state you reside in (We will assist you in getting additional non- residence license at our cost)
- 3+ years’ experience working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Goal-oriented with a focus on achieving sales objectives
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external clients, both verbally and in writing
- Analytical skills and the ability to quickly add, subtract, divide and multiply percentages
- Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with staff, sales associates and vendors
- Strong computer skills and ability to use various software, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, insurance quoting software and customer relationship management software
- Substantial organizational skills
- A minimum of an associate degree or equivalent work experience
- Must be comfortable proactively calling and emailing prospective customers
- Positive attitude, empathy and enthusiasm
Work at Home Requirements
- Desktop or Laptop (Apple/Mac, Tablets or Smart devices, Windows Mini PCs, Chromebook and Android systems are NOT compatible
- Operation system – Windows 10 or newer
- Webcam-Video available
- The computer must have least 4GB of RAM and a Processor speed – Dual Core 2 GHz or better
- High-speed Internet via wired ethernet connection, no Wifi, Satellite or Hot spot
- Upload speed of 3 Mbps; Download speed of 10 Mbps
- The Internet service provider (ISP) must be highly stable with 1% or less packet loss
- Latency under 100ms.
- USB headset with noise-canceling microphone (Jabra, Plantronics, or Logitech recommended) 3.5 mm headsets and gaming style headsets are not approved.
- Must have available cell phone, tablet or landline required for Multifactor authentication
