Responsibilities
- Handle Life & Annuity customer care requests received via phone calls and written correspondence.
- Provide outstanding service delivery through clear communication with customers.
- Diffuse escalated situations by analyzing, partnering, and resolving complex customer issues.
- Educate customers on product features and available self-service tools (IVR and web).
- Maintain accurate product and process knowledge while staying up to date on regulatory changes.
- Review, analyze, and process written requests and documents.
- Update and ensure integrity of customer accounts, including account history.
- Meet or exceed quality, productivity, and timeliness standards.
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering customer service in insurance or financial services.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following established guidelines.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to manage escalations with professionalism.
- Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- General insurance background.
- Strong initiative, ownership, and follow-through on call documentation and issue resolution.
- Team player with adaptability to varying schedules and feedback.
Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated salary range: $31,800 – $52,000 annually (based on experience and qualifications).
