We are looking for a customer focused Help Desk Specialist to provide fast and useful technical assistance for user’s computers and software. An excellent Help Desk Specialist must have good technical knowledge and communicate effectively to understand the problem and explain its solution. If you are you an experienced IT Help Desk Specialist who can take the hassle out of any technical problem, patient and friendly even with difficult customers and able to share your advanced technical knowledge in the simple and understandable way – we highly encourage you to apply!
The work you will do:
- Install, configure, diagnose, repair, maintain, and upgrade all hardware and related software while ensuring optimal workstation performance. This includes laptops, monitors, networking equipment, and company issued iPhones.
- New user life cycle management- Account creation, laptop setup\shipping, helping to make sure new users are up and running on their first day.
- Daily and constant interaction within a helpdesk application(Zendesk, FreshService, ServiceNow etc).
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues for a remote workforce and the unique challenges that come with this such as home network-related issues,seemingly “basic” yet important IT issues for team members and responsiveness to tickets with high quality solutions (taking it personal).
- Personable and engaged IT assistance for all levels (data, clinical, engineering, C-Suite) of the company with the entire gamut of technical experience at every level.
The skills and qualifications you need:
- 2 to 4 years of related HelpDesk experience required
- 3 years of experience utilizing a variety of computer hardware.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Advanced computer troubleshooting, analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Solid working knowledge of Office365 Admin Center.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10 or 11.
