- 8-hour shifts scheduled between 8:00am–8:00pm EST
What You’ll Do
- Support patients with billing questions and reimbursement processes tied to CVS Specialty services
- Learn CVS Specialty revenue cycle workflows and how service impacts a patient’s journey from order to reimbursement
- Build trust with patients through clear, relevant conversation
- Handle emotional or difficult calls with empathy and urgency
- Document every interaction accurately in the revenue cycle system
- Review accounts, determine next steps, and follow up to resolve concerns
- Gather and review patient info to assess eligibility for payment plans
- Meet call center metrics (call volume and quality)
- Coordinate with other CVS departments using internal tools and systems
- Maintain a professional, caring presence over the phone
What You Need
- 6 months experience in healthcare billing, reimbursement, collections practices, and/or infusion services
- 1+ year experience using Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Strong written and verbal customer service skills
- Comfort working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to provide emotional support and empathy during patient interactions
- High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
Preferred
- 1 year experience in healthcare billing, collections practices, and/or infusion services
- 1 year experience in pharmacy billing and reimbursement
