We are looking for a superstar Impact Associate to provide high-quality research, data analysis, event planning, and project coordination in support of Vital Farms mission and Impact goals. The Impact Associate will play a critical role in driving our Impact programs forward, supporting their development and growth throughout the organization. Impact programs include our Crew Resource Groups (CRGs) that drive inclusion and belonging amongst our crew, our operational climate efforts, and scaling regenerative agriculture with our farmers.

The ideal candidate is passionate and interested in addressing social and environmental impacts through business and has exceptional organizational skills and is detail-oriented. This candidate will also be adept at working collaboratively and cross-functional with a proactive problem-solving skillset.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide coordination and support to Crew Resource Groups (CRGs) and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committees
  • Support data collection from internal stakeholders for reporting and responding to customer and industry DEI and ESG surveys
  • Maintain dashboards and project plans to track progress and report out on Impact programs and goals (e.g. DEI workforce data, greenhouse gas emissions management)
  • Draft and support internal communications and program administration activities for Impact initiatives such as event planning and meeting coordination
  • Build relationships across different functions to drive DEI, environmental, and social impact initiatives
  • Conduct ongoing research and benchmarking on Impact topics

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 1-3 years of experience (internships acceptable)
  • Passion and knowledge about DEI, environmental, and social issues and understanding of the role of business and purpose-driven brands in tackling these issues
  • Data management, analytics, and research skills
  • Proactive, values-oriented, empathetic individual
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
