This role will work directly alongside the HR Business Partners and contribute to driving our people strategies and promoting a positive and collaborative working environment for all employees.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Transactions and potential employee communications at the full discretion of the Lead HR Business Partner, Director of HR Operations, and Director of Talent Acquisition surrounding various employee life cycle events, including leave of absence, role and compensation changes, performance management, employee recognition and engagement, record requests, population trends, and other projects as needed
  • Promptly respond to, investigate and resolve employee inquiries and issues as they arise under the full discretion of the Lead HR Business Partner while maintaining a high level of client service and confidentiality, and escalating as needed
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Team and Onboarding Team to carry out the new employee integration process
  • Identify trends and prepare feedback summaries of departing employees
  • Assists with monthly reporting, auditing and effect employee data changes
  • Completes various electronic filing and data entry tasks as needed to maintain compliance with recordkeeping requirements
  • Maintain an understanding of employment laws as well as trends and developments in our industry
  • Partner with other HR team members on special projects
  • Help facilitate the annual performance coaching and goal setting dialogue under the Lead HR Business Partner inclusive of compensation decisions

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Human Resources or related discipline highly preferred
  • 2 Years of experience within an HR Department
  • Knowledge of HR-related best practices, government regulations and industry standards
  • Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA and related state and federal regulations
  • HRIS experience preferred, ADP experience a plus
  • Demonstrates exceptional discretion when dealing with confidential matters
  • Ability to exercise discretion and make independent judgments on matters of significance
  • Demonstrated professional integrity
  • Dependable, flexible, and adaptable to new ACA initiatives and changing client needs
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team environment
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize effectively
