Overview
Position: HR Specialist
Pay: up to $24/hr.
Location: U.S. Remote- Hybrid if within 30 miles from Tustin, CA or Austin, TX. 2 days on-site.
Position Summary: The People & Culture Specialist (HR) Specialist is responsible for the administration and maintenance of Onboarding and compensation practices. The HR Specialist is the first point of contact for Onboarding and Pre-employment inquiries. Specific tasks include handling employment agreements, background checks discrepancies, changes in commission compensation, new hire questions. Additionally, the HR Specialist oversees other HR personnel.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Onboarding and Compensation teams to provide additional knowledge and training on commission compensation.
- Review all offer letters and compensation agreements to ensure they are written accurately and sent out in the appropriate manner.
- Work to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
- Follow up with managers to ensure we have the correct paperwork completed on time.
- Ensure receipt of all agreements in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all updates are made in ADP and that all changes are reviewed for accuracy.
- Develops and implement new and revised compensation programs, policies and procedures in order to be responsive to the company’s goals and competitive practices.
- Develops techniques for compiling, preparing and presenting salary data.
- Prepare commission, exempt and nonexempt salary surveys to ensure corporate compensation objectives are achieved.
- Maintain Daily/Weekly Updates to Spreadsheets and systems.
- Audit employee’s work to ensure everything has been processed correctly.
- Work on Special Projects.
- Assists in other HR employment activities as assigned.
- Other Duties as assigned.

- Previous experience in a role that required a high level of confidentiality.
- ADP Workforce Now experience preferred
Desired Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources preferred; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work Authorization: Must be able to verify identity and employment eligibility to work in the U.S.
