We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. This is an opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our HR practices and policies. Reporting directly to the Head of Business Operations, who possesses a background in HR, you will have the unique opportunity to leverage their expertise while independently managing the HR function.  

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Staffing: Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.

Performance Management: Work with managers to effectively evaluate and improve employee performance.

Employee Relations: Serve as the primary contact for all employee-related matters, resolving conflicts and fostering a positive work environment.

Compliance and Policy Development: Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements; develop and update HR policies and procedures.

Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize employee development programs.

Benefits and Compensation: Administer employee benefits programs and manage compensation structures.

Data Management and Reporting: Maintain HR records and provide reports to the Head of Business Operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a start-up/scale-up environment where you are used to wearing lots of hats.
  • Excellent Track record of recruiting and hiring quality candidates
  • Excellent understanding of HR functions and best practices. 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. 
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
  • Remote opportunity, however we are looking for someone in the Denver area as that is where the rest of the team sits.
