In this role, you will:
- Design and implement FHIR-based integration solutions for seamless data exchange between hospital EMR/EHR systems and other healthcare applications.
- Lead the technical solution design, ensuring alignment with healthcare data standards and interoperability requirements.
- Collaborate with hospital IT teams, business stakeholders, and developers to gather requirements and define integration objectives.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to developers, ensuring best practices in healthcare data interoperability and revenue cycle management.
- Ensure compliance with HL7, HIPAA, and other healthcare regulations.
- Optimize healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes through data-driven technical solutions.
- Support the end-to-end delivery of integration projects, from design to deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to FHIR APIs, data mapping, and system connectivity.
Who You Are:
- 7+ years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on interoperability and integration.
- Strong knowledge of FHIR, HL7 v2/v3, and CDA (Clinical Document Architecture).
- Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, Allscripts, etc.).
- Expertise in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes and workflows.
- Proficiency in integration platforms, API development, and cloud-based healthcare solutions.
- Experience in leading development teams, providing architectural guidance, and ensuring project success.
- Understanding of security, compliance, and data privacy in healthcare environments (HIPAA, HITECH, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud-based healthcare integration platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with FHIR Servers, SMART on FHIR applications, and OAuth2 authentication.
- Certifications in HL7, FHIR, or healthcare IT standards
- Experience with SQL, NoSQL databases, and healthcare data analytics.
