Schedule
- Fully Remote (U.S.-based only)
- Choose your own hours in 30-minute blocks
- Client hours vary by program
- Independent Contractor (1099 position)
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound calls to assist patients, providers, and healthcare partners
- Assess needs, offer information, and resolve issues with professionalism and empathy
- Document calls accurately while navigating multiple systems
- Provide non-clinical support with compassion and discretion
- Manage your own workflow and deliver services pursuant to your contract
What You Need
- Minimum 1 year of phone-based healthcare or patient/provider support experience
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable wired internet and quiet home workspace
- Windows-based PC (Macs, Chromebooks, and tablets not supported)
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Patience, empathy, and strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in healthcare, education, social services, or related “people-helping” fields
- Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and health insurance terminology
- Comfort discussing medical processes without giving medical advice
Compensation
- Paid per completed service (varies by client program)
- Performance-based pay opportunities
- Independent Contractors are responsible for their own taxes and expenses
