Schedule
- Remote (work from home)
- Shifts fall between 8:00 AM–9:00 PM ET, assigned based on business needs
- Training pay starts at $14/hr, then increases when you move into production
What You’ll Do
- Handle inbound and outbound calls for member/patient support
- Answer questions about benefits, eligibility, and coverage
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm provider appointments
- Support referrals, authorizations, prescription renewals, and other requests
- Assist with claims questions, billing inquiries, and account updates
- Update plan eligibility and member records in internal systems
- Document interactions accurately in EMR/CRM tools
- Communicate with providers and internal teams via phone, secure messaging, and email
- Protect PHI and follow HIPAA/privacy rules
- Escalate complex cases to the appropriate team or supervisor
What You Need
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year high-volume call center customer service experience
- 1+ year healthcare or health insurance experience (member services, provider services, benefits support, etc.)
- Job stability: at least one year tenure per role (they’re clearly screening for this)
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Comfort navigating multiple systems while staying accurate
- Private workspace + reliable high-speed internet
- Willingness to be on camera during interviews, training, meetings, and check-ins
