Schedule
- Full-time role with flexible schedule options:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Monday–Friday, 8:30 am–5:30 pm
- Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–6:00 pm
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for patients via phone
- Listen empathetically and assist patients in resolving outstanding medical balances
- Negotiate and collect payments while maintaining professionalism and compassion
- Provide clear, accurate information about billing processes
- Document conversations and outcomes in company systems
- Deliver excellent service, even in challenging situations
- Support a positive patient experience with every interaction
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience required
- Background in healthcare billing and finance strongly preferred
- Understanding of HIPAA guidelines
- Ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Positive, empathetic, and professional attitude
