Description & Requirements
The Health Coordinator role is to provide advanced and accurate clinical inquiry responses to health related, disease control and prevention issues, including questions related to bioterrorism, first responders and national emergency situations from medical and other health care professionals, educators, and government agencies.
*This is a temporary position and 100% remote.
*This project requires that you provide your own computer equipment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
– Provides advanced clinical inquiry responses (verbal and written) to health-related inquiries from consumers, educators or medical/health professionals.
– Provides medical subject matter expertise.
– Performs advanced database searches.
– Composes documents, reports, and correspondence.
– Documents all incoming inquiries.
– Participates in special projects as required.
Minimum Requirements:
– High School Diploma (or equivalent) with 2-4 years of working experience in a medical, health or public health environment.
– The following licenses are a plus but not required: LPN, R.N., P.A. or M.D.
– Clinical knowledge of and experience with CDC related topics.
– Proficient internet search / research skills.
– Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn and utilize software applications.
– Excellent listening, comprehension, communication (verbal and written), problem solving and customer service skills.
– Ability to work independently and communicate effectively.
– Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to organize and prioritize.
Home Office Requirements:
– This project requires you to provide your own equipment including a monitor and wired headset. PC or laptop that is hard-wired to your internet router with an ethernet cable.
– You must provide reliable, high-speed internet with a minimum download speed of 25 Mbps and a minimum upload speed of 10 Mbps.
– Wi-Fi, Mobile hotspots, IPV 6 networks/services, and 5g Wireless ISPs (T-Mobile, Verizon, ATT, etc.) are not compatible with the client network/systems. Windows 10 Home S mode is not compatible with the client network/systems.
– Windows10 or 11 Operating System is required.
– Chromebooks are not permitted.
– Private work area and adequate power source.
– Video calls may be requested on occasion. Proper background and attire are required.

– May have additional training or education in area of specialization.

Pay Transparency
For positions on this contract, Maximus will pay the prevailing wage rate for the location in which the employee is working, as determined by the Department of Labor. That wage rate will vary depending on locality. An applicant’s salary history will not be used in determining compensation.
