Schedule
- Remote, part time 1099 contractor role
- Must be available Monday to Thursday, 3 pm to 8 pm MT, plus Saturdays to match client schedules
- Groups are one hour each, you are expected to arrive about 10 minutes early and stay for the full time
- Participation in Treatment Team on Tuesdays and Group Supervision every other Friday
- You will facilitate groups via secure telehealth platforms from a confidential space
- Note: This role is not available to candidates in Illinois
What You’ll Do
- Complete all onboarding requirements within 2 weeks of your start date
- Review assigned group curriculum before each session and follow Charlie Health group best practices
- Facilitate virtual group sessions across different age groups and cohorts, including Integrative curriculum, Support Staffing, and Wellness Hour when needed
- Create an engaged, camera on group culture that supports client participation and cohesion
- Respond to email and Slack messages promptly, within 48 hours
- Collaborate with Group Quality Supervisors or Directors in monthly check ins, Treatment Team, and Group Supervision
- Work closely and respectfully with Primary Therapists, Care Experience Specialists, and Care Coaches
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, families, staff, agencies, and referents
- Complete all group notes and documentation within 24 hours, meeting DHCS and Joint Commission standards
- Maintain strong professional ethics, boundaries, and confidentiality
What You Need
- Master’s degree in a mental health or related field (for example counseling, social work, clinical psychology, marriage and family therapy, school counseling, or a comparable mental health program)
- Experience working with a wide range of ages including children, teens, young adults, and adults
- Prior experience facilitating group treatment and a genuine belief in the power of group work
- Comfort using a variety of clinical modalities and integrating them into group work (DBT, CBT, EMDR, MI certification is a plus)
- Experience delivering telehealth groups or strong readiness to do so
- Reliable WiFi and the technical ability to run smooth, secure virtual sessions
- Familiarity with or willingness to use tools such as Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox, EMR, and outcomes survey software on a daily basis
- Ability to work as part of a team, take feedback, and show up consistently for high acuity clients
