What You’ll Do
- Work closely with Closers and warehouse banks to ensure loans are funded accurately and on time
- Review signed loan documents to confirm they meet federal, state, local, and company requirements
- Calculate wire amounts for each loan based on fees and figures in the closing package
- Initiate funding requests and coordinate wires from the appropriate warehouse bank
- Register M.I.N. numbers for all closed loans across retail and wholesale channels
- Retrieve purchase schedules from investors and load them into the loan origination system, then export to warehouse banks for line-of-credit removal
- Balance each warehouse line of credit daily to confirm correct outstanding balances
- Reconcile unfunded loans and recover funds from closing agents when needed
- Follow up with closing and escrow agents to ensure closing packages and collateral documents are delivered promptly
- Scan and ship collateral documents to designated warehouse banks
- Support month-end close by pulling warehouse details for the Accounting team
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to three years of related experience preferred, especially in mortgage, title, escrow, or funding
- Knowledge of residential mortgage documents is a plus
- Comfort with title and escrow concepts is helpful
- Solid basic math skills
- Willingness to work occasional early, late, or weekend hours as volume requires
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with sharp attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a distributed team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
