Work Schedule: Ally designates roles as (1) fully on-site, (2) hybrid, or (3) fully remote. Hybrid roles are generally expected to be in the office a certain number of days per week as indicated by your manager. The Opportunity
This role is located in Quebec. Ally Financial is seeking a Fixed Operations Specialist to join Ally’s Fixed Ops team supporting GM and Subaru business in the Quebec area. In this dealer facing role, you will be responsible for managing the profitability of the vehicle service contract business within a geographic territory of assigned dealers both virtually and in person. You will be reporting to a manager/supervisor under intermittent supervision applying previous experience to moderately complex tasks.
This position will require regular travel dictated by the territory and assigned dealer needs.
The Work Itself
- Analyze assigned accounts to identify loss control opportunities
- Develop and execute tailored action plans to each assigned dealer
- Maintain a dealer contact cadence appropriate for each account based on profitability
- Handle individual or reconcile multiple claim issues including adjudication of more complex claims
- Perform documentation reviews to assess sales versus submission, repair order and used car trends
- Train employees at assigned accounts on claim and system processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers
- Establish “Hawthorne Effect” via onsite presence as dictated by business needs
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with matrix partners
- Maintain SalesForce documentation to expectations around dealer activities
- Participate in additional trainings, educational activities, and regulatory compliance awareness
- Participate in special projects/assignments
The Skills You Bring
- HS diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
- · 4+ years of Automotive industry experience required; prior dealer experience a plus
- · Experience in foundational operational roles (MCS, RS, OA) preferred
- · Must possess excellent communication and collaboration skills
- · Possess analytical abilities to breakdown claim information into trends
- · Prior Ally systems experience preferred
- · Ally product knowledge preferred
- · Above average computer and technical skills
- · Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Proficiency in Power BI preferred
- Ability to travel
- Must be fluent in French
- Must live within the territory
Base Pay Range: An individual’s position in the range is determined by the scope and responsibilities of the role, work experience, education, certification(s), training, and additional qualifications. We review internal pay, the competitive market, and business environment prior to extending an offer.
$84,200 – $114,600 CAD
Incentive Compensation: This position is eligible to participate in a variable OR annual incentive plan.
