Schedule
- Fully remote position
- Standard shift: 10AM–7PM CST
- Production-driven call-center environment
- Must meet scheduling and financial clearance productivity metrics
Responsibilities
- Complete patient scheduling and registration in a single call
- Provide appointment prep info, directions, order details, and related instructions
- Verify patient demographics, insurance benefits, and authorization requirements
- Determine financial responsibility and secure payments or pre-payments
- Perform collection efforts for upcoming services
- If assigned to Order Management: verify provider orders match scheduled procedures and index orders correctly
- If assigned to complex pre-registration:
- Create full pre-registration accounts for inpatient or surgical admissions
- Verify all demographic and financial data
- Obtain pre-certifications and authorizations
- Document all actions clearly and accurately
- Support department workflow with other duties as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Preferred:
- Two years of college or two years of professional customer-service experience
- Call-center background
- Pre-registration or scheduling experience
- 2–3 years of customer service experience
- Strong multitasking ability across multiple systems
- Proficiency with Windows-based environments and dual monitors
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, metric-driven environment
