Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Must reside in AR, AZ, FL, GA, IL, KS, MI, MO, MT, NC, OH, OK, RI, SC, TX, or UT
- Standard business hours with flexibility for project priorities
Responsibilities
- Lead and support the Filing Services team, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all filings, reports, and transactions
- Oversee daily operations, including managing team inboxes, assigning tasks, and resolving escalated issues
- Train and mentor new Filing Admins; develop and refine training materials and SOPs
- Research and maintain compliance requirements for state and jurisdictional filings
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients, state regulators, and internal teams
- Monitor and reconcile filings within the InsCipher Connect portal; prepare documentation for state audits
- Lead team meetings and align priorities with business goals
- Support leadership with ad hoc requests and project execution
- Promote adherence to company policies, compliance standards, and performance expectations
Requirements
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of insurance industry experience
- 1+ year of leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of surplus lines reporting and tax payment processes across jurisdictions
- Proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
