Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit applications to configure EDI claims and ERA through clearinghouse and payer portals
- Submit EFT applications with payers and ensure proper setup
- Investigate enrollment denials and errors with payers to drive resolution
- Review payer correspondence and take appropriate actions to resolve issues
- Serve as liaison between the RCM department and Strategy & Operations team on enrollment tasks
- Communicate effectively with customers via email, calls, and system notes
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date enrollment records in the Candid Health platform
- Meet and maintain KPIs for both production and quality standards
- Stay current with departmental workflows, tools, and compliance processes
- Follow HIPAA guidelines and protect patient information at all times
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management (medical billing or healthcare/healthtech)
- Experience with EDI enrollment strongly preferred; Change Healthcare experience is a plus
- Investigative mindset with ability to analyze problems and suggest data-driven actions
- Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with a cooperative, positive attitude and ability to work across teams
- Commitment to accuracy while balancing efficiency (“done is better than perfect” mindset)
Compensation
- $22.00 – $27.00 per hour (contract role; rate may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
