This role supports HHS modernization initiatives by helping plan, develop, deploy, and oversee Integrated Eligibility systems. You’ll combine policy knowledge with consulting, project coordination, and stakeholder support across medium- to long-term engagements.
Schedule
- Full-time, remote (must permanently reside in the Continental U.S.)
- Position contingent upon contract award
- Must be willing to work a shift supporting Alaska Standard Time
- Travel required: 2–4 trips per year to Alaska

What You’ll Do
- Partner with project managers to track initiatives, monitor progress, and support delivery needs
- Support leadership in delivering work to specifications, on time, and within budget
- Create and maintain work plans and project documentation
- Track project status, due dates, resource capacity, and budget elements
- Manage relationships with project staff and cross-functional work groups
- Produce weekly and monthly status reporting (work plan status, target dates, budget, capacity, and more as needed)
- Facilitate recurring meetings, reviews, and stakeholder touchpoints
- Provide ad hoc support to project teams, developers, and stakeholders as requested
- Assist with responses to federal partners’ requests for information
- Consult on federal or state initiatives and policy changes impacting eligibility and enrollment
- Apply subject matter expertise in SNAP, TANF, and Medicaid policy and processes to inform system design and modernization decisions
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 7–10 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience with CMS Medicaid Streamlined Modular Certification (SMC), including outcomes and metrics
- Experience researching and interpreting federal/state Medicaid eligibility and enrollment regulations and documentation
- Experience defining and designing Medicaid enrollment and reconciliation solutions
- Experience interviewing clients/users to understand eligibility business processes
- At least 3 years of experience within the last 5 years in a comparable role on a similar project
- Willingness and ability to support Alaska Standard Time work hours and travel to Alaska 2–4 times per year
