Schedule
- Fully remote role within the United States
- Full time, standard business hours
- Expected 24–48 hour turnaround on assigned income analyses
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and work from the Self-Employed Income Dashboard for all self-employed borrowers (Schedule C, Partnerships, S Corps, Corporations, rental income)
- Review P&L statements and balance sheets to support income calculations
- Maintain the Income Dashboard for commissions, bonuses, and all variable or fluctuating income
- Calculate stable, supportable qualifying income for FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA loans
- Review, analyze, and certify self-employed, rental, and variable income across all Agency products offered
- Stay current on Agency income guidelines and correctly apply them to real-world scenarios
- Use IncomeGenius for all self-employed income calculations
- Identify missing or unclear information and communicate what is needed to firm up income decisions
- Collaborate with coworkers to share knowledge and help move files forward
What You Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 3 years of experience working with FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA income guidelines
- Proven experience calculating self-employment income (all entity types)
- General understanding of Agency guidelines for self-employed, rental, and fluctuating/variable income
- Hands-on experience computing qualifying income for FHA, VA, Conventional, and USDA
- Ability to make and document final income decisions with clear, reasonable explanations
- Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and comfort with guideline-driven work
- Willingness to collaborate, share knowledge, and support teammates
