Schedule
- Full-time, fully remote position
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams across U.S. time zones
- Based in the United States (Austin, TX pay range shown; open to other locations)
What You’ll Do
- Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for all Natera testing services
- Submit and track prior authorizations through payer portals (Glidian, Carelon, Evicore, etc.)
- Gather and review medical documentation to establish clinical necessity
- Coordinate with payors to resolve discrepancies and secure timely approvals
- Maintain detailed documentation within revenue cycle systems and meet ≥90% accuracy benchmarks
- Collaborate with billing, claims, and quality teams to improve workflows and compliance
- Identify process enhancements and automation opportunities to improve efficiency
What You Need
- 3+ years of experience in medical billing, insurance collections, or RCM operations
- 3+ years in eligibility verification, prior authorization, or payer policy management
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or equivalent experience
- Proficiency in payer portals, billing software, and Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of CPT/HCPCS, ICD-10, and medical terminology
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to HIPAA compliance and accuracy
