The company supports self funded health plans with a focus on service, accuracy, and customized solutions. As part of the Operations team, you help ensure claims and eligibility data move cleanly between Allied and its vendors every single day.
Schedule
- Full time, fully remote role
- Standard business hours in a computer based environment
- Must have reliable high speed internet via cable or fiber with minimum speeds of 100 Mbps download and 25 Mbps upload
What You’ll Do
- Receive, upload, and download EDI files to and from multiple vendors on a daily basis
- Monitor EDI databases and track file activity, counts, and batch audits
- Process 837 and other transaction files, including conversions and preparation for internal processing
- Perform data entry tasks to support eligibility matching and member demographic updates in the master database
- Research and resolve failed transactions and missing acknowledgements
- Document workflows and maintain accurate records of file handling and routing
- Provide EDI support to internal staff and outside trading partners as needed
- Complete other operations tasks and projects as assigned
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Data entry skills at 6,000 keystrokes per hour with strong accuracy
- Basic knowledge of Word, Excel, and Access
- Comfort working with file based processes and computer systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot and fix errors
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and stay organized
- Problem solving mindset and comfort working both independently and as part of a team
