Schedule
- Part-time, Temporary (Independent Contractor – 1099)
- Fully Remote (U.S.-based only)
- Flexible scheduling with monthly payment cycle
- Must complete pre-engagement assessments and certifications if selected
What You’ll Do
- Take inbound calls from disaster-affected individuals and families
- Listen actively, assess needs, and connect callers to appropriate resources
- Offer empathy and reassurance during high-stress moments
- Collect, verify, and log accurate data including contact and case details
- Provide information for financial assistance pre-eligibility applications
- Maintain composure, compassion, and professionalism under pressure
What You Need
- Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
- Ability to stay calm and empathetic during back-to-back calls
- Strong attention to detail, data entry, and multitasking abilities
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a background check
- Windows 10 computer (no Macs, Chromebooks, or tablets)
- Wired high-speed internet (no Wi-Fi, hotspots, or satellite connections)
- USB wired headset with noise-canceling microphone
Compensation
- $15.00 per hour
- Monthly success bonus opportunities
- Paid monthly (on the 10th for the previous month’s work)
