Job Summary

The Dialer Support Specialist is responsible for working with call center management to ensure that all PDS (Predictive Dialing System) hardware/software components are effectively utilized to increase associate and business productivity. the Specialist will monitor all aspects of the PDS process, including scheduling, execution of workloads, real time decision-making, dialer settings, dialer performance, account volume, queue volume, strategy changes, and other responsibilities as assigned based on desired results and business needs and provide ad-hoc reporting for call centers as requested by call center management.

Job Description

Essential Job Functions 

Monitoring – Maintain workflow and pacing to obtain the highest level of productivity in each portfolio.  Includes monitoring system speed, idle time, abort rate, and other factors.  Audit daily uploads to ensure proper functionality of both dialer and host system. Monitor associate real time schedule adherence; provide authorization for all unplanned activities and coordinate approved activities with Operations Management. Builds relationships by establishing trust, confidence and credibility with senior leaders, executives, and regulatory bodies 

Reporting – Complete routine and ad-hoc PDS reports for Collection Managers, Collection Directors, Collection VP, and SVP of Operations. Utilize reporting and other data to analyze performance and strategy effectiveness, solve problems and make decisions. Utilizes knowledge of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams to execute daily work. Demonstrates the ability to work independently, remain organized, and prioritize work in order to work on multiple projects over the same time period with accuracy and attention to detail. 

Productivity – Through data gathering and observation, construct new methods of dialing and processing accounts to maximize productivity.  Communicate recommendations to PDSCC Supervisor and other leaders as required. Act as a centralized point of contact amongst all care sites for any system related down time. Relays vital information to Operational Readiness teams and clearly relays troubleshooting instructions to all care centers. 

Reports to: PDSCC Supervisor/Department Manager.

Minimum Qualifications:  

High School Diploma or equivalent education  

Preferred Experience: 

One year or more years experience in Collections, Predictive Dialing System (user and operator)
