For this client, you will support a Driver Assistance Program that offers emergency help, collision notifications, destination assistance, and more. You bring the patience and professionalism, they provide the tools and training you need to succeed.
Schedule
- Contract, work from home, serving customers in Canada and eligible U.S. states
- Flexible scheduling, you set your own hours
- Client operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- Day, night, and weekend hours available
- Typical contract ranges from 15 to 40 plus hours per week
What You’ll Do
- Answer inbound calls from Driver Assistance Program customers and assess each situation carefully
- Provide support for services such as Emergency Assistance, Automatic Collision Notification, Hands free Destination Assist, and Stolen Vehicle Locator
- Use active listening to understand the caller’s needs and determine the right solution
- Handle both routine navigation or mapping questions and high stress emergency situations
- Reassure, de escalate, and guide emotional or distressed callers toward resolution
What You Need
- Caring, calm, and empathetic demeanor, especially in urgent situations
- Strong customer service skills and active listening ability
- Comfortable multitasking while searching for information and speaking with customers
- Ability to stay composed, decisive, and clear during emergencies
- Quiet, uninterrupted workspace in your home
- Willingness to work as an independent contractor and pass a background check
- Eligible to work in Canada or in the U.S. excluding California, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington
