Working Solutions is a remote-first contractor marketplace that staffs customer support programs for major brands. This role is a seasonal independent contractor assignment supporting Intuit TurboTax through Tax Day.
Schedule
- Seasonal contract through April 15, 2026
- Program hours: 7:00am–11:00pm CST, Monday–Sunday
- Flexible scheduling: you choose your hours
- Remote, US-based (not available for residents of California, New York, Pennsylvania, or Washington)
What You’ll Do
- Assist customers with TurboTax software navigation
- Help customers locate prior returns and amendments
- Support via phone (with video chat capability) and chat
- Escalate calls/issues when appropriate
- Hit key metrics tied to incentives and earning potential
What You Need
- Tech-savvy and comfortable navigating multiple systems at once
- Friendly, professional communication style
- Strong customer-first mindset
- Ability to work in a quiet, uninterrupted space
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
Technology Requirements
- Personal computer (no tablet)
- Windows 11
- Broadband internet (10 Mbps recommended)
- Wired connection required (no Wi-Fi or mobile internet)
- Updated antivirus software
- USB headset with microphone
- Webcam (required for video support; some may be provided, limited availability)
- Mac note: only Intel-based Macs running Windows 11 via Boot Camp are eligible (limited acceptance)
Benefits
- Contractor pay model: up to $0.30 per talk minute ($0.31 bilingual Spanish/English)
- Incentive: +$0.04 per minute
- Top performers reportedly average the equivalent of about $20/hour (based on meeting/exceeding metrics)
- Important: this is 1099 independent contractor work (no employee benefits like PTO, health insurance, unemployment, etc.)
