Schedule
Remote (U.S.)
Shift: Monday–Friday, 12pm–9pm EST
Mandatory paid virtual training: Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm EST for ~4 weeks before moving to the shift schedule
Stable internet and a quiet remote workspace expected

What You’ll Do

⦁ Support small business customers via phone, email, and chat across software, benefits, payroll, compliance, and HR topics
⦁ Explain benefits administration clearly: eligibility, enrollments, and perks (medical, dental, vision, life, FSA/HSA, commuter, disability, retirement, COBRA)
⦁ Troubleshoot payroll workflows: running payroll, payments, time and attendance, reports, and wage and hour basics
⦁ Manage and resolve cases in a CRM with strong follow-through and proactive status updates
⦁ Triage and escalate complex issues to Team Leads or subject matter experts while keeping the customer experience smooth
⦁ Share customer feedback, process improvement ideas, and bug reports with internal teams (including engineering)
⦁ Maintain product expertise so you can train customers and recommend best practices

What You Need

⦁ 1–2 years of customer service experience (contact center experience preferred)
⦁ Strong written and verbal communication skills, plus the ability to defuse tough situations professionally
⦁ Comfort learning and explaining complex topics in simple language
⦁ Ability to prioritize, move fast, and take ownership of outcomes in a high-volume environment
⦁ Remote readiness: self-starter mindset, reliable workspace, and stable internet
⦁ Bonus points for experience with Zendesk, Talkdesk, Jira, or Confluence
⦁ Bonus points for benefits, payroll, HR, or adjacent industry experience
⦁ Bonus points for Spanish or another second language at business conversation level
