The Opportunity
We are looking for a customer-centric, team-oriented individual to join our Customer Success team at Clever. This person will have the opportunity to join our tight-knit team, where we help hundreds of homeowners through their journey of buying or selling a home, and support agents throughout the process. This is a 100% remote opportunity!
Folks interested in buying or selling their home with Clever first connect with our Home Concierge team, who then pass customers to our Customer Success team. Then, our Customer Success team walks customers through their real estate journey from the moment the customer decides to use Clever’s services, to when they reach the closing table. The goal of the Customer Success team is to make the process of buying or selling a home as easy and transparent as possible. Our team is the voice of our brand for both customers and agents, and we present ourselves as a knowledgeable, passionate, and caring team that is looking out for the best interests of those we serve.
Together, the Customer Success team ensures our customers and agents have the best possible experience with Clever by offering support and guidance throughout the process. Our team works hard to ensure each step of the process moves along smoothly but is trained to find effective solutions and quickly solve problems if they ever arise. We’re looking for someone who’s eager to jump in, ask questions, take ownership, and ultimately have a massive impact on our customers’ real estate journey!
You will:
- Speak on the phone with Clever customers that are buying and selling their homes – helping them navigate their real estate journey and making it a seamless experience
- Support our partnered real estate agents throughout the process
- Work with our agent network team to make sure we’re able to make great agent matches
- Handle all digital communication with customers and agents
- Respond to reviews and comments from customers
- Provide updates, support, and answer any questions from customers or agents that are using our service
You have:
- A positive attitude that shines through in your communication with customers and agents
- A love for learning and always wanting to improve
- A mix of customer service experience and a strong phone presence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong listening skills and effective note-taking
- Ability to solve complex problems while remaining calm under pressure
- Strong time management skills
- Interest or knowledge in Real Estate is a bonus

- $45k base salary

Schedule
Our Customer Success team has coverage from 7 am-9 pm CST – Monday through Friday and 7 am-5:30 pm CST on Saturday and Sunday. Each team member works five days a week with an 8.5-hour shift that includes 30 minute lunch break. Your tentative schedule will be the same each week, with opportunities to change the longer you’re Clever.
Licensing
This role requires you to have a Real Estate license. Our team will help you obtain your Missouri real estate license before your start date, at no cost to you, if you need to get one.
Clever Real Estate is headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri. Therefore, we are required by the Missouri Real Estate Commission to have all our Customer Success Specialists obtain this license in the state of Missouri.
