Monday to Friday, regular business hours between 6am and 7pm CST
Must be flexible to work any 8 hour schedule within that window
Home office required: distraction free workspace with a door
High speed internet with a direct modem connection required

What You’ll Do

⦁ Provide excellent customer care to Veterans and in network providers
⦁ Answer inbound calls and determine what support the caller needs, including some outreach as needed
⦁ Ask the right questions, listen actively, and document accurately in multiple systems
⦁ Help customers navigate CCN websites and build confidence toward self sufficiency
⦁ Verify Veteran benefits for in network providers
⦁ Protect PHI and maintain strict confidentiality at all times
⦁ Research complex issues across multiple databases while toggling between applications smoothly
⦁ Escalate or communicate issues to leadership as needed
⦁ Stay in the call queue unless approved to step away
⦁ Process requests quickly and work effectively in a structured, metric driven environment
⦁ Follow schedules, assignments, and quality improvement standards
⦁ Support policy and process identification and improvement

What You Need

⦁ High school diploma or GED (or higher)
⦁ 2+ years experience in a medical or health insurance environment (claims, scheduling, provider office, customer service, etc.)
⦁ Knowledge of medical terminology, including provider specialties and ICD or CPT codes
⦁ Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
⦁ Strong multitasking ability and comfort working across multiple windows and systems
⦁ Metric focused mindset with consistent productivity performance
⦁ Typing speed of 35 WPM
⦁ Excellent verbal and written communication with strong phone etiquette
⦁ Organized, detail oriented, and reliable in a goal driven environment
⦁ Call center experience preferred, especially in a production based setting
