At Root, the customer is at the heart of all we do. Our customer service team is the gateway to our customers and directly shapes both our customer experience and the product we are building. The Processor II role is responsible for filing and completing high priority financial responsibility forms for customers in an accurate and timely manner, and utilizes different procedures per state. The Processor II will flex down to support the Processor I’s as needed.
Shift: 8:30am – 5:00pm Eastern Time
Reports to Customer Service Supervisor
What you’ll be doing.
- Learn and understand basic comprehension of each state’s specific financial doc requirements
- Direct communication with customers via email answering questions regarding filing requirements and confirming once filed
- Serve as point of contact for CS1’s and CS2’s for state specific financial doc questions
- Partner with claims adjusters to file required documents in relation to customer claims
- Flex down to support P1’s as needed
- Work with compliance to ensure all FRD handling procedures are executed and documented appropriately
- Identifying process improvements and communicating those to team lead and supervisor
- Meet and exceed monthly goals and metrics assigned by business unit
- All other duties assigned
What we’re looking for.
- 6 months to a year prior customer service, processing, and/or insurance industry background
- Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to be timely, patient, and attentive to customer needs and requests
- Friendly disposition with natural ability to read customers and use positive language in customer correspondence
- Willing to go the extra mile attitude
- Willingness to learn and ability to gain deep knowledge of the insurance product and smartphone app
- Detail oriented with affinity for multi-tasking
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suites
Compensation: $17/hr
