- Hours of operation: Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. CST
- Your working hours must fall within this window
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the first point of contact for participants via phone, chat, and email
- Answer questions about benefits such as FSAs, HSAs, COBRA, and related processes
- Educate participants on how to use their plans and online tools so they can self-serve with confidence
- Aim for first-call resolution, including handling complaints and escalations professionally
- Document all interactions and resolutions in the CRM for quality and metrics tracking
- Set clear expectations and next steps for participants when issues require follow-up
- Maintain professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality in every interaction while following HIPAA and privacy regulations
- Consistently meet internal quality, service, and productivity standards
What You Need
- Associate’s degree OR 4+ years of experience in a customer support or service role
- At least 2+ years of multi-channel contact center experience (phone, chat, email)
- Proven success resolving customer issues and asking detailed, probing questions
- Ability to multitask while staying calm, focused, and customer-centered in a high-volume environment
- Experience with CRM platforms and cloud-based tools such as Zendesk, Amazon Connect, or similar
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of empathy and patience
- Comfort documenting calls and follow-ups clearly and accurately
- Prior healthcare, benefits administration, or insurance experience preferred
- Bilingual capabilities are a plus
