What You’ll Do
- Partner with the clinical programming team to write, edit, and develop therapeutic group curriculum, including session guides, facilitator manuals, script samples, handouts, and group exercises
- Work in alignment with Charlie Health’s clinical model to combine internal data with peer-reviewed research across relational, trauma-informed, and third wave CBT models (DBT, ACT, CFT, etc.)
- Turn complex clinical concepts into accessible, structured, client-centered materials that support engagement and measurable therapeutic outcomes
- Participate in feedback loops with clinical leadership, facilitators, clients, and subject matter experts to keep curriculum empirically grounded, inclusive, and peer-review ready
- Regularly review and revise curriculum based on facilitator feedback, clinical needs, evolving best practices, and organizational goals
- Maintain clean documentation, version control, and consistent formatting standards across all curriculum assets
- Incorporate culturally responsive, developmentally appropriate, and affirming language and practices into every piece of content
- Support curriculum-related trainings by preparing outlines, materials, and content explanations as needed
- Identify opportunities to enhance curriculum with interactive elements, multimedia, and new engagement strategies
- Contribute to innovation efforts as programming evolves with emerging client needs and treatment trends
What You Need
- Master’s degree in a clinical field (Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or similar)
- Active or previously held clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LPCC) and direct clinical experience
- At least 2 years of experience in clinical content development, curriculum writing, or a closely related field
- Strong understanding of contemporary evidence-based therapeutic models, including relational psychodynamic theory, trauma-informed care, CBT, and third wave CBT approaches (DBT, ACT, Compassion Focused Therapy)
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity, warmth, accessibility, and technical accuracy
- Ability to “translate” clinical language into practical, empathic, group-ready materials for real-world facilitators and clients
- Demonstrated commitment to culturally responsive, inclusive, and trauma-informed practices
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and comfort managing multiple drafts, versions, and deadlines
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams (clinicians, program leads, operations, etc.)
- Proficiency with Google Suite and comfort working in fully digital workflows (Slack, Zoom, shared drives, etc.)
- Authorized to work in the United States and native or bilingual English proficiency
Benefits
- Target base salary range: $57,000–$75,000 per year, depending on experience, location, and internal equity
