What You’ll Do
- Support enterprise-wide credentialing processes for clinicians and provider groups
- Maintain accurate provider records in credentialing software
- Collect, review, and prepare provider data for bi-monthly Credentials Committee review
- Draft and distribute approval letters, requests for information, and termination notices
- Track and respond to communications on behalf of Medical Directors
- Coordinate Credentials Committee meetings and maintain official minutes
- Process NPDB Continuous Query reports and ensure timely follow-up
- Communicate with practitioners and internal teams to clarify information and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards
What You Need
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
- 2–5 years credentialing experience in a hospital or health plan setting
- Working knowledge of Joint Commission, NCQA, URAC, and HFAP standards
- CPCS certification preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through skills
- High accuracy and comfort working with sensitive information
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no visa sponsorship available)
