About the Role

As a Credentialing Associate at SonderMind, you will play a critical role in connecting providers to clients. You will be at the forefront of our mission to make therapy accessible for all. Reporting to the Credentialing Manager, you will have a direct impact on improving a provider’s experience with SonderMind, from their first application all the way throughout their tenure with us. You will work with providers to help them with onboarding, answer questions about their status with insurance partners, and keep their information up-to-date. You will work collaboratively with various other teams across SonderMind to improve processes and solve problems quickly. Successful candidates will be able to communicate effectively, think critically to resolve issues, be willing to learn and open to feedback, and have a high level of attention to detail. Essential Functions

  • Serve as the credentialing point of contact for our providers, offering detailed and effective support through various communication channels including phone, text, and email 
  • Reduce the time it takes to get a signed provider to a ‘maximally credentialed’ provider
  • Investigate and resolve provider issues related to credentialing, collaborate with other departments, and ensure that all inquiries, concerns, and requests are addressed promptly and effectively 
  • Partner with external parties, such as insurance payors, to resolve identified issues
  • Manage multiple priorities effectively within established deadlines and metrics
  • Other responsibilities and ad-hoc projects from time to time, based on business needs

  • Within one week, fully understand each step of the credentialing process.
  • Within one month, reach a level of efficiency across your duties, including serving as the point of contact for onboarding or tenured providers.
  • Within two months, ramp up to the prescribed service level agreements while maintaining accuracy
  • Within three months, generate and implement at least one process improvement across all Credentialing activities.

The anticipated salary rate for this role will be $20.00-23.00 per hour.
