Schedule
- Full-time, remote position
- Must reside in one of the following states: Indiana, Iowa, Wisconsin, North Dakota, Kentucky, Alabama, Florida, Oklahoma, Michigan, North Carolina, or South Carolina
- Monday through Friday schedule
- Phone and computer based role in a high volume support environment
What You’ll Do
- Reach out to courts to follow up on individual orders and general court status, answering questions and resolving issues on active filings
- Communicate with court personnel, attorneys, and clients via phone and email with a professional, service focused tone
- Use ABC Legal’s internal system (Skye) to process documents, add detailed notes, and complete data entry tasks accurately
- Handle steady inbound and outbound calls, assisting courts and customers and managing questions about documents and case status
- Navigate and interpret court dockets and online portals to understand case statuses and download documents for internal use
- Relay updated information from courts to process servers and customers so they always know where things stand
- Collaborate with team members to identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in how documents move to and from the courts
- Perform document manipulation tasks such as working with PDFs and online faxes
- Take on other related duties as assigned to support the Court Support team and business goals
What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in customer support, call center, or retail in a customer facing, service oriented role (legal experience a plus)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working and communicating in a fully remote environment using tools like Teams, Zoom, Outlook, and similar platforms
- Ability to use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word) and basic comfort with online fax and document tools
- Experience or comfort with repetitive data entry tasks that require accuracy and focus
- Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly
- Quick learner who is willing to grow and adapt with new tools and processes
