WHAT YOU’LL DO:
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic-minded Corporate Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving the growth and success of our organization through effective corporate development initiatives. This role requires a combination of financial acumen, strategic and analytical thinking, and persuasive communication skills to identify, evaluate, and execute business opportunities and risks.
In this role you’ll be responsible for
Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A)
- Lead comprehensive financial analyses, due diligence, and risk assessments for potential acquisitions
- Oversee 3rd party diligence work streams
- Coordinate internal alignment and issue resolution on transactions
- Oversee continuity between pre and post close processes with cross-functional teams from initial evaluation to post close performance integration
- Support the identification and evaluation of potential M&A opportunities that align with our company’s strategic objectives
- Assist in the development and communication of the strategic business case to obtain senior management and Board support
- Ensure successful close and integration; regularly drive lessons learned reviews
- Assist in the management and analysis of pipeline of opportunities
Market Research and Analysis
- Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas for business expansion
- Analyze industry landscapes, competitive dynamics, and market conditions to inform strategic decision-making
Financial Modeling and Analysis
- Build complex analytical models, performs financial analysis, and evaluated company and market information to value acquisition opportunities
- Provide insights into the fiscal impact of various strategic options and recommendations
- Provides clear and well-founded recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team
- Develop and present investment cases in a structured, logical, and data-driven format to support executive decision-making.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Finance, or a related field; a Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a plus
- Six (6) years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, transaction advisory, private equity environment with end-to-end deal execution
- Ideal candidate has worked for a highly acquisitive company and is experienced in managing multiple acquisitions through all phases of the process
- Management/strategy consulting backlog or other business-related project management experience is welcomed in combination with related transaction experience noted above
- Exceptional analytical, financial, and business valuation skills, with the ability to analyze and assess complex business opportunities with limited information
- Experience in project managing large cross-functional project, with the ability to set priorities and create focus for others
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
