- Remote (US only, equipment provided)
- Full-time, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Eastern
- Shift options: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
- Some holiday coverage required
What You’ll Do
⦁ Manage the authorization process end-to-end: notification, data entry, submission, follow-up, determination, and discharge
⦁ Maintain detailed documentation across the EMR, CorroHealth internal systems, and payer portals
⦁ Verify patient eligibility and benefits accurately
⦁ Serve as a liaison between hospital staff and health payers to keep information flowing and timelines on track
⦁ Review timely filing guidelines tied to utilization management workflows
⦁ Track pending authorizations and follow up with payers to secure timely responses
⦁ Contact payers to clarify status, decisions, and remove processing roadblocks
⦁ Identify and escalate issues that could lead to delays or denials
⦁ Manage a workload of assigned accounts with accurate records and consistent follow-through
⦁ Maintain strict HIPAA compliance and follow healthcare regulations
What You Need
⦁ High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in healthcare administration or equivalent preferred)
⦁ 2 years of experience in hospital billing/follow-up, healthcare setting, or authorization work
⦁ Knowledge of managed care contracts
⦁ Experience in customer support or client issue resolution
⦁ Strong grasp of medical terminology and insurance processes
⦁ EMR experience (Epic preferred)
⦁ Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment
⦁ Proficiency with MS Office and web-based systems
