Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Training: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm CST (mandatory)
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm CST
- Possible voluntary and mandatory overtime based on business needs
- Remote role with provided equipment; must maintain a distraction-free workspace
- Internet requirements: DSL, Cable, or Fiber; min 15Mbps download / 5Mbps upload, ping <30ms, hardwired connection
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls with a focus on one-call resolution
- Create and complete accurate referrals and applications; stay updated on policy/procedure changes
- Manage inbound fax workload (if applicable)
- Investigate and resolve patient/physician inquiries promptly
- Lead by assisting teammates, answering questions, and delegating tasks as needed
- Enter detailed notes into company systems during calls
- Place outbound follow-up calls for missing information or confirmations
- Mail required documents to physician offices
- Work with referral sources to process new applicants
- Identify and document Adverse Events during customer contact
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic computer knowledge, Microsoft Office proficiency
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work with urgency
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer practices preferred
- Independent and self-directed worker with attention to detail
- Ability to sit for extended periods in a remote setting
