What You’ll Do
- Oversee company contract administration from intake through execution, including tracking and maintaining the full contract lifecycle.
- Own and manage the legal request intake and review process so business teams know where to go and what to expect.
- Maintain and update company contract templates, playbooks, and SOPs for recurring legal tasks.
- Help design and implement processes and tools for contracts, litigation tracking, and compliance activities.
- Support selection, setup, and optimization of contract and document management systems, including naming conventions and file structure.
- Maintain official electronic legal files and corporate records in a clear, organized, and accessible way.
- Independently draft, review, and process routine contracts and legal documents under attorney guidance.
- Project manage legal department initiatives, tracking deadlines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Provide administrative support to the legal team, including formatting documents, coordinating meetings, and handling day to day operational tasks.
- Partner with leadership and internal teams to remove bottlenecks and improve how the Legal Department supports the business.
What You Need
- Undergraduate degree plus contract management and paralegal or legal assistant experience.
- Experience implementing and managing a contract or document management system.
- Strong background in administrative task management and legal department support.
- Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, and Google Workspace.
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills with comfort interacting at all levels of the company.
- Ability to juggle shifting priorities, stay calm under pressure, and work independently in a remote environment.
- Proven ability to protect confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Team first mindset and willingness to pitch in on projects outside your core list when needed.
