Curriculum Associates is seeking a Contracts Administrator. The Customer Contracts Administrator supports the Legal Team by serving as the first line of review and negotiation of customer contracts and RFPs.
The impact you’ll have:
- Oversees the entire lifecycle of customer contract requests, from initial request through contract execution, renewal and/or termination.
- Collaborates with stakeholders across various departments to understand business needs and requirements for customer contracts and RFPs, including terms and conditions, pricing, and service level agreements.
- Reviews and negotiates customer contracts and RFPs to ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Maintains accurate records of customer contracts, including contract terms, key dates, and obligations, in designated contract management systems or databases.
- Assists with escalated negotiations and issues or discrepancies related to contract performance and customer relationships.
- Coordinates contract renewals, extensions, or terminations as needed, including conducting contract reviews and obtaining necessary approvals.
- Provides support and guidance to internal stakeholders on contract-related matters, including contract interpretation.
- Stays informed on industry trends (with emphasis in data privacy), best practices, and regulatory requirements related to customer contracts, and recommend updates or enhancement to contract management processes as needed.
- Develop expertise in student data privacy related matters
- Other duties as reasonably assigned.
Who we’re looking for:
- Proactive and advanced analytical, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of contract principles.
- Ability to analyze complex contracts, identify risks and opportunities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions as needed.
- Proficiency in contract management software or databases.
- Ability to produce error-free work product with efficiency and attention to deadlines.
- Ability to interact professionally with internal and external stakeholders through various modes of communication.
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Required Education and Experience:
- At least 6 years of contract administration or contract review experience.
- Experience in customer and SaaS and/or EdTech contracting preferred
Travel: Less than once per quarter to Company offices only.
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $60,750-$99,750. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
