Associate Benefits Administrator – Contractor

Benefitfocus is seeking professional and motivated individuals to support our customers during our Open Enrollment season. As an Associate Benefits Administrator- Contractor, you will provide customer support via phone and email, guiding and help navigate our customers through their benefits enrollment.

  • 4 weeks of paid training
  • $16.00/hour plus performance incentives
  • You’ll gain experience in Salesforce, JIRA (issue management system), Microsoft Office Suite.

Requirements to be successful:

  • Dedicated, private workspace free of distractions.
  • High-Speed Internet – must be able to hardwire company supplied computer and cable to your home router (wireless or satellite connections are not allowed)
  • Computer literacy – data entry, keyboard and laptop usage, Microsoft Office, internet

Responsibilities of the position:

  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers over the phone.
    • This could include communicating benefit plan details, helping customers navigate our software, and helping to resolve any enrollment-related issues
  • Accurately document each customer interaction in Salesforce
  • Provide an accurate timeframe for issue resolution if not able to resolve initially

  • Other duties as assigned

Experience and Skills required:

  • A High School Diploma or GED required
  • An excellent communicator (especially over the phone!) who can work well with others to resolve issues
  • Able to quickly learn new technology (with training, of course)
  • Able to juggle a high volume of calls and multiple projects at a time
  • A team player who contributes by accomplishing results as needed
  • Motivated to grow your career at one of the most innovative, visionary software companies

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
