What You’ll Do
• Answer high volume inbound calls about patient medical bills, insurance, EOB forms, and payment arrangements
• Troubleshoot billing questions, explain benefits coverage, and set expectations for next steps and timelines
• Document each interaction accurately and close out issues properly in internal systems
• Partner with internal teams to research insurance denials, missing payments, and attorney requests
• Support special projects and other duties as assigned

What You Need
• Associate’s degree required (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a fast paced, high volume environment (healthcare call center is a plus)
• Strong understanding of EOBs and familiarity with a variety of insurance plans
• Working knowledge of ICD 10 and CPT codes
• Comfortable using spreadsheets, databases, and word processing tools
• Strong math skills (percentages, decimals, whole numbers, fractions)
• Clear communication, solid time management, and the ability to explain complex documents in plain language
• Professional, tactful style with a team first mindset in a collaborative environment
