Summary:
The remote Contact Center Representative (call center representative) works in a high volume fast-paced environment handling inbound and outbound calls (no cold calling) for customers seeking a commercial insurance quote for their small business.
Must live in: Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Texas, or Virginia
Requirements
Answer or call potential customers to inquire about insurance needs and offer recommendations for products or services.
Actively listen to callers and confirm or clarify information while accurately entering information into CRM
Respond efficiently and accurately to callers. Explain possible solutions and ensure customers feel supported and valued.
Utilize software, databases, scripts, and tools appropriately.
Understand and strive to meet or exceed contact center metrics while providing excellent consistent customer service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred
Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills, professional phone voice.
Understanding of company products, services, and policies.
Proficiency with computers, especially with CRM software, and strong typing skills.
Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations.
Strong time management and decision making skills.
Adaptability and accountability
Equipment Requirements
Must have a Windows or Apple desktop/laptop. Chromebooks are not a viable option.
Access to high-speed internet. A hardwired connection is required
Dedicated work space
Schedule:
Business hours are 7 AM to 7 PM (Central Time)
Monday-Saturday and closed on Sunday.
Prioritized 8-hour schedules Monday-Wednesday
Monday, Tuesday, and Friday are mandatory
Compensation: Hourly Rate + Monthly Commission
Commission is paid based on the number of transfers completed in the previous month and based on work performance and are not a guaranteed amount.
Commission is paid on the 15th of the following month.
The average monthly commission for the top 5 earners over the past four months was $1,150.

Salary Description
$12.00 – $14.00 Plus a Monthly Commission
