If you can rebuild the world in 3D from 2D references, clean topology and all, this role is basically: “make it accurate, make it production-ready, and explain how you got there.” You’ll model across hard-surface, organic, and environments, then iterate quickly based on feedback.
About Invisible Agency
Invisible supports companies by building scalable, high-quality operations. This freelance AI Trainer project uses expert specialists to produce high-quality outputs and “show your work” so the system improves over time.
Schedule

Contract / freelance
Hours based on your availability (you’ll enter average hours per week)
You supply your own secure computer + high-speed internet
No benefits (contractor role)
What You’ll Do
- Translate 2D reference images into precise 3D models with accurate geometry, proportions, and topology
- Source additional references to resolve occlusions, blurry details, and missing angles
- Produce high-quality models across:
- Hard surface: vehicles, props, machinery
- Organic: humans (realistic digital doubles), animals, plants, natural forms
- Environment & architecture: buildings, landscapes, set pieces, world assets
- Iterate based on feedback and align with project quality standards and art direction
What You Need
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in 3D Art, Animation, Game Design, Computer Graphics (or equivalent professional experience)
- Proficiency with tools like Maya, Blender, ZBrush, Houdini, 3ds Max
- Familiarity with UV + texturing workflows (Substance Painter, Mari)
- Portfolio showing range across hard surface + organic + environments (film, games, AR/VR, interactive a plus)
- Strong grasp of anatomy, form, and material definition
- Ability to clearly explain your process (“show your work”)
- Comfortable with iterative pipelines and feedback loops
Benefits
- $22/hour
- Remote contract flexibility
- Work that rewards technical craft, accuracy, and clear communication
Backbone note: this is labeled “Entry Level,” but the ask (hard surface + organic + environments, production-ready quality, plus process documentation) is not entry-level in the real world. If you apply, your portfolio has to scream range and finish, not “student reel.”
